Retreat Cancellation Policy

Please note that because The Haus of H Retreats are limited to a small number of attendees to allow for a more personal and intimate experience, our cancellation policy is in place to help both guests and our team share the responsibility for expenses that may arise from unexpected changes

.

HOLD DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON.

Hold deposits (minus a $100 USD re-listing fee) are transferable to another new attendee found and assigned by the original attendee.

The full balance is due 90 days prior to the start date of the retreat unless otherwise noted.

Cancellation requests submitted after the balance due date, and up to 30 days before the retreat start date, will receive a 25% refund of the total amount paid (excluding the deposit).

Within 29 days of the retreat: no refunds will be given—no exceptions.

Any refunds issued will incur a 3% processing fee.

 

No one books a retreat intending to cancel, but life happens. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.

It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policies. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason—including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits will be given for failure to attend, late arrivals, early departures, or incomplete participation.

Travel insurance is encouraged to protect your investment in case of illness, emergency, or other unforeseen events. Most travel insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation and may also cover medical expenses in the event of an accident during the retreat.

The Haus of H reserves the right to cancel any retreat due to insufficient enrollment. Should this occur, all money paid to The Haus of H will be refunded in full. Notice of cancellation for this reason will be provided no less than 30 days prior to the retreat start date. However, The Haus of H cannot be held responsible for additional personal expenses, such as airline tickets, incurred due to changes in itinerary or retreat cancellation.

Retreat Liability Disclaimer

The Haus of H and all persons involved in our retreats (hereinafter referred to as “AGENTS”) act solely in the capacity of AGENTS for retreat participants in all matters related to travel, transportation, and activities. As such, AGENTS disclaim responsibility for any damage or loss resulting from any cause outside their control.

AGENTS are not responsible for delays, changes in schedule, strikes, or any disruptions to travel plans or conditions. Nor are they liable for loss or damage to baggage or personal belongings. All pricing is accurate at the time of publication and is subject to change based on currency fluctuations or operational costs.

AGENTS shall not be held liable for personal injury, death, accident, delay, loss, property damage, or irregularity arising from force majeure or from any acts—negligent or otherwise—of third parties providing transportation, accommodation, or other services related to the retreat.

This agreement supersedes all prior oral or written communication, representations, or agreements.

Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with activities such as yoga, breathwork, foreign travel, and any other retreat offerings. Each participant agrees to take full responsibility for their own well-being, including any injuries that may occur. Modifications are offered to accommodate individual needs, and participants are encouraged to consult with a healthcare provider prior to the retreat if they have any physical limitations or concerns.

Participants agree that any disputes arising from or related to The Haus of H retreats shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Before pursuing litigation, participants agree to engage in mediation. Should litigation occur, it shall be held in Middlesex County, New Jersey, and the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs.

During the retreat, AGENTS commit to providing safe instruction and maintaining safe premises. However, each participant remains responsible for their own self-care and choices throughout the experience.
